Digital Sales Executive
Position: Gauteng and KZN and CT
Senior (5 years plus) Basic + commission (R25 000,00 base and 10% PBT Comm)
Junior-intermediate (2-4years) Basic + commission (R18 000,00-R20 000 base and 10% PBT Comm)
Preferred start: asap
Broadbrand is the media division of the DSG Group, a 20 year veteran in the South African online space. We hold exclusive rights to resell advertising technologies, the world’s largest in-app advertising platform. We’re looking to take advantage of the explosion for relevant data and rich media and need additional sales staff in Gauteng, KZN & CT to meet the demand in the market. We also host an outstanding BPO Call centre and cyber security functions to be marketed and sold.
Generating new business from brands and agencies
Maintaining some existing clients in addition to bringing your own client base
Running with a campaign from strategising and pitching through to launch, billing and reporting
Liaison with agencies, brands, industry bodies, third parties and internal departments.
Work within a team, reporting to a manager and answerable to the CEO
Manage personal sales pipeline.
Provide accurate sales forecasts and report to management in a timely and consistent manner.
Share customer/ industry feedback and insights with internal partners.
Identifying relevant opportunities and capitalizing on Group product set
Ability to understand original advertising solutions and be proficient within a month
B2B media sales experience is preferred, but not essential.
Three years+ media sales experience specialising in digital media.
Demonstrated ability to initiate and close complex packages.
Knowledge of internet technologies and the online advertising sales market.
Experience in selling to clients at a senior management/ director level.
The ability to apply creative solutions to advertising briefs and create strong bespoke sales packages in a highly competitive marketplace.
Established relationships within Gauteng, KZN & CT agencies and clients
Qualification in sales / advertising or relevant experience essential
Agency knowledge / agency relationships essential
Call center and cyber security added benefit
Expert Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook skills.
Knowledge of advertising concepts such as Analytics, DFP, Facebook, Google, AdWords
Grasp of rates (CPM, CPC, CPV, CPI etc)
Understanding of recent advertising concepts and trends regarding audience data, legislation, beaconing
Being able to put proposals together
Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
