Corporate Social Responsibility

#DoingSomethingGreat

At DSG, we believe in unleashing greatness to add value to the communities we serve. Being the change starts with action, and we are proud to partner with organisations that are making a lasting difference.

Our Initiatives

Through long-standing partnerships and hands-on involvement, DSG contributes to education, healthcare, poverty alleviation, and community development across Southern Africa and beyond.

Maharishi Institute

The Maharishi Institute offers an effective learn-and-earn programme for bright young minds who, despite historically disadvantaged backgrounds, have the right attitudes towards learning. The partnership with DSG empowers the institute to generate funds and create long-term sustainability. For every seat outsourced, we educate 3 students, with a target of 1,000 students. This impact-sourcing solution addresses youth unemployment through integrated CX training and skills development.

46664 / Nelson Mandela

DSG served as the official ITC partner for the Mandela AIDS benefit concerts, designing interactive technology for SMS messages displayed on live screens. We continue to support The Nelson Mandela Children's Hospital Trust through a digitalmall.com branded merchandise store.

Goodbye Malaria

In partnership with United Against Malaria and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, DSG built e-commerce fundraising facilities and co-launched a mobile learning platform used across Africa in 7 languages. This work received United Nations recognition, and DSG operates the Goodbye Malaria online store.

Abundant Village

DSG built a free website for this community development organisation. Abundant Village drives initiatives including clean water, nutrition, affordable energy, housing, health clinics, education, and job creation in underserved communities.

Harambee Youth Employment

DSG uses demand thinking and actual market demand numbers to fast-track cohorts of cybersecurity resources. Starting with no fewer than 30 people per cohort, funded by host employer demand, with pathways to scale to 300. Curriculum is aligned to host employer software stacks and signed off with training partners including CapaCITI.

Impact Sourcing Model

DSG and CXG remain focused on impact sourcing and changing lives through work with the Maharishi Institute and Harambee for youth employment. Our 70/30 work-from-home model supports home-based remote agents while creating sustainable employment pathways for young South Africans.
